Volunteer
Choices Life Resource Center depends on a dedicated group of volunteers (whom we call Client Advocates) to help meet the needs of families in Southern Indiana. We currently serve families in 4 center locations – New Albany, Corydon, Salem, and Marengo!
Whether you want to work behind the scenes or be one-on-one with clients, there is a place for YOU to serve. All necessary training is provided.
Bilingual Volunteers Needed
Help serve our growing Hispanic client base by offering care and connection in a variety of ways:
- Provide
one-on-one mentoring for moms and families
- Assist clients in the
boutique as they shop for needed items
- Lead a Bible study in Spanish or English/Spanish
- Develop and teach a life-skills class based on your interests or hobbies
You choose the area that fits your skills and the schedule that works for you. Your ability to communicate in both English and Spanish can open doors for deeper relationships and greater impact.
Weekly Team Commitment:
- A Team – Our A Team volunteers work alongside CHOICES staff to perform administrative tasks like answering phones, data entry, and other office work.
- B Team – Our B team helps clients in the Blessing Boutique. Tasks in the boutique include assisting families as they shop, washing donated clothes, packaging diapers, sorting donations, and ironing.
- C Team –Our C-Team serves one-on-one with clients in the Consult Room, providing parenting support, encouragement, and Christ-centered hope. Clients who come for pregnancy tests and options counseling are seen by our trained medical staff. C-Team volunteers meet with families who are here for parenting support, helping them set goals, develop life skills, and grow into the parents they were created to be. Most importantly, every visit is an opportunity to share the love of Christ.
- Seasoned Dads – We are seeking godly men to serve in our Legacy Builders fatherhood program—meeting one-on-one with dads, offering encouragement, guidance, and biblical wisdom. As you walk alongside fathers on their parenting journey, you’ll help them build a strong legacy for their children grounded in faith, character, and love.
Can’t make a weekly commitment?
Weekly volunteers commit to serving a 2–3 hour time slot on a day of the week that works with their schedule and matches an opening at their chosen center location. We make accommodations for family commitments, vacations, and other events as they arise to ensure volunteers can serve consistently while maintaining balance in their personal lives.
We get it! There are so many other ways to serve.

Micah 6:8 calls us to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” We believe this means serving
vulnerable families in Southern Indiana, walking with them in compassion, offering hope, and sharing the love of Christ.
